annoying squeeking brakes when wet

Is it a problem with the pads ?? or is there nothing I can do ?
thanks

What style of brakes do you have? V, Canti, Disc or Caliper?
If it’s anything other than disc you may want to give the pad some “toe in” which basically means is adjust the pad so that the front of the pad hits the rim very slightly before the rest of the pad. That stops a certain amount of squealling.

Try changing to a different brand, or if they’re organic, switch to metalic, or vice versa.

You could always give them a little sand paper in case they have “glazed over” with use that could help
Edit: I mean the pads not the discs 🙄

Yeah I thought about doing this but I was wondering if it would help because they are fine in the dry ??

Out of interest what make of discs? I have recently bought a bike with hayes stroker ryde discs and they seem to squeal if they are wet at low speeds however once you get them warmed up they stop.
Incidentally the hayes anchors are the mutts nuts better than the hope minis I was riding with!
