What sort of bike are you getting, and what sort of riding will you be doing, Marty, Cross Country, Downhill, Jumps, it may just help people decide to get out and ride with you 😉 😉
C’mon guy’s, anybody riding in the Co. Durham area who can help this young lad out…… 😉

Pinkbikes a good place to start:
etc – you can jut change the city at the top to anywhere local.
Also, have a look on my site (in my sig) for the guys from NEFA – they build the trails in Chopwell woods and are always out and about around the region – quite often down at the chicken run in Pity me (don’t know if you know it?). There’s also some lads who ride penshaw monument quite abit. (I’m guessing that coming from a BMX background you are not going to be keeing the wheels on the ground all the time so am pointing you in that direction 😀 but if it’s more xc you’re after just say)

gdgd thabks for that what type of riding they do. any one doing any long distance
yeah tbh its more the xc. tbh i ride and hav rode allot of differant bikes.
ive had mi onza trails bike for half a year but havnt realy got the time to keep the practise up

Can’t say for the Pinkbike guys. NEFA do a bit of everything but lean more towards jumps / freeride.
If xc is your thing though I’d suggest sounding out the beamish oddsox, assuming they don’t have an issue with your age they would be perfect as the meet locally and go all over the place, and I’m sure you would be able to get lifts to go along on club rides.

btw wot do you ride

Whatever I can get time to do – generally only get out once a week locally (Hamsterley / Weardale) for some XC but I definitely prefer the downhills to the uphills.
Rode Dalby with some of the guys from here and the Hamsterley Trailblazers last Sunday, and try and fit in a trip to decent trail centre once every 2 months ish.
