    Aloha!

I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to maintaining my bike but I’ve had a go at repairing some punctures today but come unstuck when putting the rear wheel back on. In my haste I didn’t pay attention to which gear the chain was on before I took it off and then started fiddling with things which just made it worse.

Basically, the cable appears to be too tight when shifting to low gears and too slack when shifting to high gears. I’ve tried experimenting with the high/low limits and twiddling (what I presume!) to be the barrel to adjust the cable tightness but neither seem to be having any effect.

Any help/advice would be most appreciated!

    Rob
