    Afternoon all,

I’ve got a 2003 Honda Civic Type-R and I need to get a bike rack to hold one/two bikes should I ever decide to go riding somewhere that I really can’t ride to (I prefer to ride to get there, but hey…).

Does anyone have any info on which ones are good? Bear in mind, I’m very car-proud (hence the break from mountain-biking for so long, got into cars) so scratches and dents won’t be tolerated.

Here’s a photo of the car, in case the shape of the rear end is important, which I guess it is?

Any help would be great people!

    James.

Likewise on the car side of things, I fitted a detachable towbar and bought a pendle wheel support bike rack. Totally invisable when removed.

Any bike rack you strap on will mark the paint.

HALFORDS, i got mine from there, they are a higher mount so you don’t need a lighting board! think I payed £50. Worth it though they are pretty good!

as you car proud, which I am too, if you knew the half of it!!

I fitted this, first time ever with one on the back.

I had two bikes on, went on a 180 mile trip

Drove at speeds of over 70mph! touching 90!

    It was fine, BUY ONE!
