So i could do with a bike work stand, however I’m not going to pay stupid money for a stand. I think £40 is my maximum, anyone got any suggestions ?

I was in halfrauds earlier today, they have a bikehut work stand for £40, I don’t know if it’s any good but it looks identical to the aldi one.
I have this one http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/x-tools-home-mechanic-prep-stand-workshop-mat/rp-prod133219 it’s a bit more money but it’s rock solid, light weight and packs down really small (so it doesn’t take up precious bike space in the shed).

Bought one other week from eBay – M&P I think the company was called. £26.99 delivered…. Bargain… Hooked up the 629 took the crank off to give the chain rings a good cleaning . As I took the crank out the load bearing upper pole started sliding down!! Raging! Wanna see what the company is gonna do, nearly took me face off. Lucky managed to put it back up long Enugu to clean and refit the chain rings. Just don’t trust it now!
