Recently decided to change my front end set up to a single speed, purely because i haven’t used the granny ring and big ring! its been working perfectly but the chain comes off occasionally (3 times in 1 ride) this never happened with the other two rings on! any ideas why this is happening?

maybe the chain is too loose and needs a few links removed?

Lack of chainguide…ie.. front mech.

would a chain tensioner do the job? or is there a specific type of chainguide i can get without it having to be a front mech?

Would this do the trick? not sure as which one to order as i dont really know much about them!
