-
looks a bloody nice bike for the money
although the £1000 dont come with those wheels 😉
its the red and black bike on the main page 😉
-
its a nice bike
but not sure if the geo’s for me with them mentioning sportive
maybe harry could tell me if my thoughts are rite about the geo…

I was looking at that frame the other day. I don’t know which Taiwan company Ribble have sourced it from but it’s exactly the same (with a respray) as the Pedal Force RS2 which sells for $800
I really can’t believe that Ribble are doing this frame for the price they are and £1,000 for a Centaur equipped bike is an incredible buy IMHO.
I don’t think the geometry is that relaxed. I think it would be a good, fast road machine. If I had #1,000 to spend on a bike it woulld be a very, very serious contender.
Bike parts and bikes are going to go up in price when current UK stocks run out so I’d buy now.
-
so you think i should keep this bike in mind harry ?
-
I was looking at this in the pages of Cycling Weekly today in their advertisement, very, very nice.
😉

No, I don’t think you should keep it in mind. Procrastination is the thief of time.
-
would you say it’s better than then Ribble Dedacciai Nero Corsa with centuar, for £1000 ?

Yes, if it’s the same frame as the Pedalforce RS2 (which I’m 99.999 per cent certain it is) then I’d say it’s infinitely better than the Nero Corsa. But I won’t be buying one and I won’t be riding one so it doesn’t really matter which one I prefer does it?

Like Harry said……………….
“Procrastination is the thief of time”.
😆 😆

i would buy it tonight f i had all the money sorted, but still need a couple of hundred quid….
hopefully i’ll sell my minimoto or trials bike soon
-
the pedal force frame had a review in cycling weekly ( march the 5th one with the free ride shots, or gummy beers as im calling them)
it got a pritty good review, and yeh harry im very sure its the same as the ribble
i also think its the same as this one…

It is the same frame. Definitely. Absolutely. No question. Without a doubt. For sure. Without question. The Fondriest is also the same.
I’ve never seen a bad review for the frame but it does make you wonder why it is so cheap. If Ribble can sell a bike for £1,000 with a £500 groupset on it and a decent set of wheels, how much did the frame cost them?
That said, for £1,000 it seems like a good buy.

yeh, thats the question with all them isnt it…
but i bet they sell alot of them… and alot of ribble bikes all together
a mean planet x have had to put there bike up to £1200
a like the ribble a must say, and its got campag which i much prefur to shimano, even tho shimano is easyer tomaintain setup…
