After riding to work this morning at 0430 I didn’t think it could have got any colder.
There’d been a shower at some point in the night and the roads had frozen out on the back lanes making the riding “interesting”.
Anyway, the weather had forecast a lovely day but as I left work at 1200 there was the threat of snow in the sky and a slight breeze had picked up, just enough whistle through the karrimor fleece I had on.
Managed a hilly 12 mile in 46 minutes, but as snow started to fall, albeit lightly, and the roads out around Seamer and Newby became more treacherous I thought it wiser to head for home….. 😳 😳
Still, felt good to be out but the salt certainly makes a mess of your bike 🙄 🙄
