I’ll be there on Sunday with a friend, problery still end up going if my friend pulls out. The Black route starts at Dixons Hollow car par. which is at the top of the hill after Staindale Lake, towards the Scarborough end of the drive.
The black route itself is about 90mile long, its 8miles. Its alot of fun. As for the DH time K88MUD, its about 60/40 DH although theres a huge climb half way around which im just starting to do without pushing it, not to mention the North Shore stretch.
some shots from the black route at Dalby:

anytime mate, When/If we do a forum ride in Dalby, i’ll recommend we all meet at Hole of Horcum car park on the A169 (Pickering to Whitby Road) as you can just ride from that on the bridleway, heading east for about 3-4miles and straight into dalby on the red & black route. Which would save paying £7 for the summer toll!

I bought a specialized deviant with the intention of doing that but the climbs can get a bit hot.
