    Hi Guys

It seem as tho i have accidently sprayed my front pads with some WD40 😳 as the stopping power in the front is crap to say the least,

So i think i need some new ones

I have a stock Specialized Hardrock Pro with Shimano BR M-445 Hydrolic brakes. I can’t seem to find what pads i need for certain, all though i have seen many that look the same but just cant be certain.. any links to the correct pads would be great

And on another note, How hard should the levers be to pull ?

Mine seem soft, like they dont engage untill at least half way, but they do still seem to be really good (obviusly not the front because of the WD40 problem)

    Thanks in advance

You need to appy copious amounts of brake cleaner to the disks and pads. Nip to your local motorist shop and buy a can it should only be a couple of quid.

I would be tempted to apply a load let it dry and give it another amount. Try the brake and then apply again.

Superstar do 4 pairs of kevlar pads for 18 quid.Ive been using them for ages and think they’re ace. Theres also a match up stencil thingy on the website so you can be sure your getting the right ones.
