    Really dissapointed in my cardio. Did my first ride out over the woods and trails at the back, it came to 2 miles round trick, didn’t take a drink with me which I found to be a big mistake!

    but even with a drink I don’t think I could go much further! I won’t let this put me off in any way but I really thought I could go further, I used to ride 20miles as kid and never even feel it… im 29 nearly now and shockingly unfit as today has told me

    you’ll get there. i bet you £100 you will be able to do more on your next ride.

    Yeah I hope so, sadly its going to be tuesday before I can go out on it again 🙁

    Just stick at it mate, even if you only get out once a week you will still notice your fitness improving

    dont stress about it, just keep hydrated and go at a steady pace, you will do at least 2 miles. just tell yourself that

    Thanks guys, can’t wait to get back out now to be honest! my recovery time from the ride was like half an hour till back to normal! I used to train weights and martial arts from around 16 – 22 then stopped and took up take aways, beers and family life.

    I think this has been a long time coming, hard at first but I am sure it won’t take too long
