Is a flared rear drop out likely to cause any issues, I’m assured that the wheel does not move once on!

    Is this repairable?

Depends on what caused it to flare, TBH. Was it a wallop?

I’m not sure what caused it, it’s on a frame I’m looking at buying it’s a Commencal Supreme 06. It’s not the clearest picture in the world but this is the damage and the frame

That doesn’t look too much of a problem, TBH. Provided that the spindle butts right to the back of the drop-out, I’d bet that it would be fine. 😛

That part will be weaker than when it was made no though.

It looks like you have to replace the whole back end if it fails so not cheap.

I wouldn’t want to pay much for the frame.

BUT if you get it at the right price the gamble might pay off.
