Help me choose……..
-
I have been given a “Track Day” as a gift, and have the option of driving a Ferrari, a Lambo, and an Audi R8, plus some others but they don’t appeal at all.
I must admit to being very fond of Ferraris and have an extensive collection of 1 1/18th scale models of the Brand, and would love to be able to say I have driven one. However, the Lambo does have a certain performance and shape appeal…………….
The Audi R8 is a bit “standard” if you know what I mean…………… 😕
What would you opt for. ❓

Lambo for me Gunner, brother in law done one at the track down near south bank.He picked the Lambo, said it was excellent 8) 8).

Ferrari – nice to be able to say you’ve driven one
Lambo – ditto
R8 – not as much bragging rights
I’ve been fortunate to drive single seaters around Bedford Autodrome a few times, all you can smell is oil, grease and rubber 😀
Noise and vibration is tremendous too. I reckon the Lambo will be the nearest to that type of experience if thats what you want.

I had a track-day, down at Bruntingthorpe for my 40th (seems a long time ago now), & played with TVRs all day!!
Chimera, Griffith 500 (still one of my dream cars), & a Sagaris
Sagaris was mental!!!!, when instructor was driving, we were overtaking Gallardos(??) in the wet, at 130MPH!!!!
(whilst the Gallardo was already overtaking Imprezas!!)

Is there an Aston Martin? I had the same choice once and chose a V8 Vantage over the Ferrari Lamborghini etc, the vanquish was broken, but it seemed an obvious choice to me.
-
Oh, and an Audi? Not even in the same league in my opinion, although it did sound good.

Forgot to mention one of the other cars is a Porsche. 😳
However, I think your right Ricky, I’m going to go for the Lambo, even though I am a desperate fan of Ferraris. If there had been a F40 then maybe as I really like them but seeing as there isn’t then I’m going to opt for the Lambo.
I’m going to down to South Bank Track too Ricky to do mine, don’t now when yet, might not be until after Xmas but it’s something to look forward to.
Nice little track down there also, have been a few times to watch the Drift Racing.

In law said flappy paddle gear shift took a bit of getting use too, but suppose the Ferrari will have that as well.

The Sagaris must have been (on announcement) one of the fastest cars available, on a ‘£££-per-MPH’ basis

Lambo all the way for me 8)
Yes, that’s what it’s going to be, but rang today and they are fully booked for this year, so not going to happen until March or April next year, something to look forward to at least. 😀 😀
