Riding to and from the evening training circuits on a Tuesday evening, now that the nights have drawn in means I need some serious candlepower to light up the road, as quite a bit of my route is on unlit country lanes. 😀 😀

So, I’ve bought a Minoura Spacebar from Westbrooks and fitted it to my OCR Team Replica, so that I can mount my MTB Smart lights on the bike.

It’s pretty damned effective I can tell you. 😉

    Here’s a few pictures:

Certainly powerful Gunner. I’m looking at getting a front light for mine and as I’ve got the Knog Gekko on the back I thought I’d get another for the front.

It’s more to allow me to be seen rather than light up th road.

    Any thoughts anyone ?

I got these. They’re compact but very bright. Often get recommended on the different fora

They’re the ones I use on a Tuesday night, the rear is very bright, think they’ve brought a front one out now using the same LED

The Exposure Enduro Max is tiny, weighs next to nothing and will put out 720 lumens, it’s amazing.

It also has a strobe type mode that will get you seen for miles away.

I run the exposure enduro max on my bars and the joystick on my helmet.960 lumens in total with a 3 hr run time on max.It looks like something from close encounters barreling down the road, lol.

Is that the one that comes with 2 straps to allow you to fit it, they come in either red or white, if so they are fantastic, I have a load. They are pericularly good for attatching to the back of your helmet they are so light.

    I’d certainly recommend them.

They were still £4 in my Tesco today though, they have been on offer before, that’s when I stocked up on them.

I’ve used those in the past and they are good. Only problem I,ve found is they can go off if loose. I once rode the dark airport rode without realising the back one had gone….
