I’m looking for some nice 700c folders with good grip and decent puncture resistance.
I fancy 25 width rather than yer normal 23. This is because some of the roads around here are so bumpy that the diffo between 23c minimum recommended pressure (110psi) and 25c at (95psi) may be the factor governing whether or not my dental fillings fall out!!
Anyone using 700 x 25c folders other than Conti? I’m not really a Conti fan but do fancy summat like Bonnies – their Road Warrior 26 x 1.5 slicks are very nice. 😀

Steve, why don’t you like Conti’s? I’m using GP4000s (the black chili ones) on both my road bikes. Apart from one horrible day when I had six punctures, I’ve only had one puncture in two years and I do loads of miles

I am a fan of Michelin Prorace 3, which I have on my summer bike. As an alternative have a look at the Michelin Krilion Carbon, which offer a bit more puncture resistance and are very hard wearing. I use these on my winter bike.

I find that these cut quite easily and TBH, the Kevlar / Aramid belt doesn’t seem to be much cop. Is this Vectran(?) stuff any better?

Now sorted – got some Bontrager Race X Lite Hardcase.
