MTB Riders………….
-
Come on, how many of you have now got road bikes as well as your MTB since joining the site (reference point only) or intending to get a road bike.
And why………….. ❓
Although equally, any road riders been tempted by the lure of the Moor 😈 😈
😉
-
Well, when I joined the site I only had one road bike. Now I have 3 so something’s happening
-
Had both for years. Road bike since 1966 and MTB since 1992. 😀
-
Mainly a road rider, wan’t to do more mtb’in but my bike isnt the best suited for it, and I don’t have any mtbin buddies, although some of us did do a 40 mile towpath ride which was good fun.
-
Same with me.
We just generally go off-road like a pair of 14-year old kids, sprinting up every small hill, daring each other to go down frightening descents and riding through as much mud and puddle water as possible. 😀
-
sounds like one of my rides steve 😀
well i started with a mtb when i joined the forum, but had allways intended to get a road bike and gradually built one up, and now im wanting another one 😀

Harry,
Procrastination is the silent consonant in MTB, is one of my favourite sayings.
I always find that road riders are much more decisive when it comes to selecting and purchasing a machine, whereas MTB’ers seem to dilly and dally over a variety of soul searching issues in the quest for their ideal cycle.
Perhaps thats more down to the greater variety of machines that’s available, I don’t know, but it is something that is also obvious in a lot of the posts in the MTB Forum under the “Recommend me a bike for……..” type post.

Good choice. You won’t be disappointed with that. What size? Where did you get it from? Pictures?
You do know that carbon melts in the rain?
