Right been a while since ive been in the bike scene.

I have a Dr Jekyl which i use for light freeriding, fast singletrack and light downhill.

Im in need of a few bits and am basically after some recomendations of what is going to be best suited to me.

Basically im after a new BB and Crankset both of these need to be able to put up with some hard riding,im in need of new rear mech aswell so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

First off, an idea of a budget would help people in giving recommendations.

Then, would you be wanting Shimano or Sram rear mech?

SRAM vs Shimano seems a lot like the Microsoft vs Apple debate to me really!

i.e, both products are good, but it comes down to personal preference. Note that the mechs (at the higher end) aren’t cross compatible. So if you already have the SRAM shifter you’ll want to get an SRAM mech, maybe X7 or X9.

No idea on the BB and crankset to be honest mate. Check out bike radar reviews?
