New bike . . . sort of
-
Well, the Pinarello is now blinged to the max. I really can’t get it any better now so we can safely say that the two-year project is finally finished. Thank God.
Here it is. Best news is that is rides even better than it looks which is going some

Absolute beauty, Harry. 😀
Just a shame someone with my handsome features isn’t riding it. 😉

Gunner, you suffer the same affliction as me . . . rugged good looks that means you spend half your life beating off women with a shitty stick.
It’s been said I have the perfect face for radio 😆 😆 😆 😆

I couldn’t ride that bike – just looking at it gives me a stiffie!! 😛

I know. It works out cheaper than Viagra though

Oi !! you’ve nicked my wheels!! 😆 😆 😆
Very nice Harry, I hope we’ll see a lot more of it when the good weather finally reaches us.
Be interesting to do a swap for a while and see if we notice any difference betwen the two bikes ( enter Marty stage left! 😆 😆 )
That should stop you pestering me to death about my wheels – unless you’re after a pair for the Ridley as well 😯

The Ridley is getting the very very nice and grossly underrated Reynolds Assaults. I’ve also bought some very special wheels for when I go to the Alps. Then of course there’s the new bike I’ll be building soon. That will be VERY special and VERY different.
It’s a form of madness that I have no control over

very nice harry .
what bike will you be using on saturday ❓
The Prince. It’s the only one I have with a compact chainset on. I don’t think I’ll have the Bora wheels on though. Something more suitable I think
-
Get them Bora’s used Harry!!
Remember the conversation we had riding through Yarm one night about all those brand new unworn cardigans that will be left in your drawer when you die ❓ ❓
( everybody will be thinking I’m talking sh1te as usual, but you know what I mean don’t you 😉 )

I know exactly what you mean and agree entirely. However, there’s a few bits of very rough road on the Cyclone and some tough climbs so I don’t think deep section wheels are the tools for the job.
I have the tools for the job but I haven’t even tried them on the bike yet. I’ll put them on tomorrow and we’ll see what they’re like on a hill. Just one mind you

Send one down here for my long-term testing programme for other person’s bikes.
Takes about a year and gets returned with a nice two-page report on how it performed! 8)
