ive got a specialized fsr xc expert with the juicy 4 brakes front and back , its got 185 rotor on front and 165 on back i think as standard .

the back one seams to overheat on long down hill sections and smells of burning and is bloody hot to touch .

i was thinking of putting a 203 on the front and the 185 on the back is this possible ??

I would imagine so, takes less effort to stop the disc if it has a larger diameter, if you get what i mean. It should be possible to put the 185 on the back and a 203 on the front, you’ll just have to buy the right adapters for your brakes. Ive just put a 203 on the front of my saracen and the 185 on the back. Much better braking now 🙂
