Just remember that it’s all about dealing with the pain and trying to pretend that you actually enjoy it

After a 14 hour shift, and arriving home to find the power off whilst an electrician is wiring up new lights and switches, I now find myself very tired and totally unprepared in terms of kit ready etc., etc, especially as I have now seen the weather forecast.

    🙄 🙄 🙄

I know what you mean Gunner. And I don’t do any shift more than three hours.

Weather looks so bad that I’m seriously considering settling for a ‘fast’ one on the 50 miles route. I find no joy whatsoever in wet cycling.

sounds like weather forecast not so good for tomorrow? i can’t do the ride myself but bro in law is doing it, talking to him earlier tonight and like he says, no matter how the weather is he’s still going to do the ride (100m) as the course is big enough for the weather to be different 20 miles or so further afield, valid point i s’pose?

good luck to all who are doing it, hope yer have a good’un
