    Try these…… riddles

    1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven’t eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

    2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?

    3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away ?

    4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday?

    5. This is an unusual paragraph. I’m curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

    1. – I’d go for room 2 for the quick death, as I wouldn’t fancy starving to death with the lions.

    2. – must be some kind of a board game …. or she’s a vampire! 8)

    3. – coals for a fire?

    4. – Xmas eve, xmas day and boxing day …. ?

    5. – doesn’t contain the letter ‘e’, probably the most common letter in the alphabet.

    2 and 4 are incorrect.

    Good effort. 😉

Yes, without having eaten for 3 years they would be dead. 😉

I still recon that my number 4 could be interpreted as correct! 😉

…. just for the sake of keeping this thread going! 🙄

Marty, unless of course, in an attempt to supplement their lack of food for 3 years, the lions broke into the assassins’ room and chewed of their hands so they wouldn’t be able to pull the triggers!! 😆

But would they then be assassins Marty……….. 😕 😕

    Surely not, ❓

By the very nature of Cosmic Order and the Rules of English Language. 😉

    Is Boxing Day a Bank/Public Holiday……………..

    I’m just asking the question………. ❓

But would they then be assassins Marty………..

Of course they would, Gunner. Dropping dead does not exonerate them from being assassins. Lee Harvey Oswald is still the murderer of JFK, dead or otherwise.

Boxing Day is a public holiday but Xmas Eve isn’t. That having been said, the question was for three consecutive days. 😛

Go on, admit that I was right! You know you want to! 😉 😀

As regards no. 2, you obviously haven’t seen the new Waddington’s game called ‘Kill Your Spouse And Get Away With It’. 😆
