When turning the preload on my forks the other day, the damn plastic knob snapped off in my fingers.
The bike is only 3-4 months old so still has warranty, but the bike was bought over the internet, so carraige charges to send it back will be a nightmare.
I’m waiting to here from the company where i bought it from but was wondering if there is a quicker fix i could do. I’m a machinist by trade so knocking up another preload knob shouldnt be a problem, but does anyone know if this can be done or shall i just leave it to the warranty!!
Ideally i want to upgrade the forks at some point but not just yet!
