A truely beautiful day here, barely a cloud in the sky, totally still at the minute too – not a hint of a breeze.

Just been to ASDA, as Joanne (SWMBO) & Amelia (‘small-child’) are away this weekend, just got changed & now I’m off out for 4 hours or so.

It would be longer, but I’ll have to come back to let the Dog out.

    You back yet 😀

Didn’t manage to get out till about 11:30*, & had a very sunny/dry/breeze-free 3 hours (plus a stop for a pot of tea on the way home at ‘Squires’)

There was 2 guys on an Orbit tandem there, the stoker was blind, & he was most intrigued by the distinctive tube profiles of the Orion.

And whilst I was there, I fell in love with a ‘mint’ Ducati 998 (in ‘Matrix’ green!!!)

Even though the stretch of A1 I use on that particular ride-route is only short, I normally get passed by large numbers of vehicles, today I didn’t see a single one – which was nice!

Further on, I passed a very nice house that I’d previously seen & tried to get Joanne to go & look at (she wouldn’t), & was pleased to see it was being renovated.

Someone’s going to love their ‘house in the country’!!

*Went to ASDA, taking the XKR for a run-out, then got to till to realise I’d left my wallet at home 😳 🙄

Still it’s less than 15 minutes travel, so back home to pick it up & go back to pay………….

Sounds like you had a good ride out & an enjoyable day!

I did 30 + miles yesterday round York and it’s villages, up and down the rivers etc! I loved it too, was out from 10am till 3ish! Had a top day.

What a differance no wind & sunny weather makes!

One thing I did notice is how warm the sun was when I stopped!
