Hi all, first of all love the forum. so much info.

I would like a little advice, hoping someone can help. In my job i find alot of bikes, ive salvaged a few and i am wanting to remove the rear gear cassete, ive just bought a lockring tool and chain whip, but the lockring tool is to big and doesnt fit into the gap!!! i think its HG, is there another fit called UG? or do i need a freewheel remover with the 4 cutouts.

    Thanks again

Thanks Gunner, definitly a free wheel remover, I must have the larger one of the two, Its a shimano cassete so thought it would be universal fit? I spoke to another friend and there is a HG and a UG is this correct?
