Got the supremes fitted last night and first proper blast along the tow path this morning. had a PB and only 2 seconds off from a KOM ok it is my KOM anyway but no harm in improving it
I have to say they are a massive improvement on my Specialized renegades. And hopefully a bit more puncture proof. Call me stoopid but i have believed the sales blurb on puncture resistance and have taken out my slime tubes. 😯 time will tell on that one. but with the lighter no slime tubes they do spin up a lot quicker and easier. 😀
time will tell on wet weather performance as well. what ever the out come they do look good in the 2″ X 28″ don’t they? kind of suit the bike in my humble opinion. 8) 8) 8)
oh and for the tire pressure geeks as i am mainly on tarmac now, I am running them at 65psi

Looking very good mate.
If they are anything like my RibMo’s were, you can run them on featherlight tubes at that pressure 8)
Found the RibMo’s a bit tacky in hot conditions and a bit “dead” if you know what I mean.
Will have to try some to compare

Yes they do look similar in the tread department. Panaracer ribmo doesnt come in my size though so cant give you a comparison.
I love the white reflective strip in the side wall. really gels with my colour scheme. ( god now I sound like my Mrs 😥 😥 😥 ) 😳

You can’t get them easily in 26 anymore either – much to my disappointment.
Only seem to be in 700c.
Excited about your tyres though, must get a set – when the dust settles from my mega spending on the Virtue 😉
Keep your eye on your rear wheel running these – especially at high pressure.
I swear blind it was running the RibMos on my Cross-Ones that destroyed the rim on my rear wheel.
I had no such issues with XC-717s – but they have eyelets – the cross-ones/rides don’t

Awesome, and i mean awesome stopping power from these tires. Had a kid run straight across me last night and I had stopped inches from her before i had, had time to even think about it. Total reflex action but the tyres held the ground like nothing else i have ever ridden. amazing grip.
I am sure it will be totally the other way round in the wet
also with the rounded profile they just glide round corners, a real confidence booster.
I am sure that you have noticed my Strava results. my times have come down over night and in less than favorable wind conditions. really happy with these tires at the moment 😀 😀
time will tell on puncture resistance and durability.

RibMo’s were excellent in the wet (although their bullet profile did pull up more spray than normal tyres). I suspect these would be no different
avoid wet grass/concrete though

i’ve used a pair on a 29er riding the road for over 12000km and had no problems. only had a couple of punctures but the rear is starting to wear thin now.
i found them to be fine in the wet.
