Im planning to have a go at the dark art of wheel building but have fallen at the first hurdle. I have ran my Rims and Hubs through the DT Swiss spoke calculator and its given me 261.50 (rounded to 261) and 263.30 rounded to (rounded to 263) for the front and 262.70 (rounded to 262) and 261.90 (rounded to 262) on the rear. Im slightly confused to which size dt spokes i now need to buy. Looking at Wiggle it looks as though the spokes are only in even numbered lengths?
Any clues please

No idea too……….just getting my shopping list together for my build so will watch this thread. 😀

try chainreaction cycles. give them the hub and rim info when ordering spokes and they send the correct spokes and nipples. they did for me.

The Dt swiss site is never spot on mate – best thing (and cheapest usually, in this case) is to go to your local shop – they usually have spokes in stock and should be helpful. I did this earlier this year – in fact I ended up getting the LBS to build the wheels while I watched ( 😯 )

With those figures I’d purchase 262mm throughout. Then if I have bought the wrong length for one side of a wheel I’m happy to carry the spares for the next wheel.
Don’t call me if it doesn’t work though.
