Right, I’m good to go! What time you thinking of setting off? Earlyish start? Anyone else fancy it?

Are we going for coffee & cake ? Silly question really.

We will be riding from Langsett, If anyone wants to join us and is not in the North East.

He *looks* to be riding that like a bit of a minge on the vid, but I’d better reserve judgemet til I’ve given it a go. Last bit looks entertaining!

8am’s good for me. Takes 2hrs according to AA Routeplanner but should be less on a Sunday morning I’d have thought. I’ll drive too so there’s plenty of room if anyone else is coming and wants a lift. Shall we meet at mine and we’ll chuck bikes in the van? You’re in charge of navigation Vern cos she’s taking the sat nav to Harrogate this weekend!

Navigation is no problem, Straight down the M1 and turn right at Barnsley 😆

    It’s happening here

Depends how fat….I’ve only got a little car 😉

Seriously – yes, there’s room, though we’ll meet at Pinchinthorpe if there’s a few of us cos the neighbours will play hell if there’s cars parked all over the place at mine.

Sounds like a great route Vern, however I think my head gasket is starting to go on my car. I can do about 50miles before the radiator is empty… Unfortantly I don’t wanna risk the car.. Roll on Student loan payment date..

Did that exact route on Thursday. In the mountain bike discussion under My Ride 17/9/09.

Its a really good ride. Some killer climbs and really technical riding once you get on the top of the moors. All the climbing is worth it on the way back as there is a lot of downhill and some really scary stuff. My wrists and fingers were killing from hanging on for my life and riding the brakes far more than I should have been!

What’s the plan for when we get to ladybower Vern? Straight back or a loop round there too? Or just see how we feel after some cake?
