when out with vern and matt on thursday night, we talked about doing a long ride this sunday ( i know short notice ) The ride is from pinchingthorpe car park over to the lion inn, Blakey Ridge via bloworth moor and back via baisdale abbey.

not sure on mileage but i would say about 26 miles…..

    anyone fancy it?

was hoping on an early start 8.00-8.30 ish?

See you all in the morning.

What you seen Dave? Wouldn’t mind your covert with it been a large if I could pass on mine.

I’ve been looking at the 2010 Covert Paul – a lovely looking beast! I’ve got to sell either the current Covert or the (unused) Whyte 46 frame – You’d be welcome to have a scoot on the Tranny to see how she fits you mate 😉

Yeah, thanks Paul & Vern. I now realise why I was feeling a little weary sat in the garden afterwards. 38 miles with 3100 feet of climbing.

It’s a shame we got rained on at Bloworth. Looking forward to some downhill duelling with you on the Tranny 😀 😀

Was just about finished the sunday ride when it went from my screen 😥

it was a great write up and pic’s were great, but can’t be arsed to do it again…..

    low down:

loads of ups and not enough downs……but believe it or not I loved it…..

Vern nearly lost his fork legs from his stantions and had a fight with a wasp on the best down hill on the whole rode…..wasp won

so as said 38 miles with 20 miles of climbing ( at least that how it felt ) all done in 6 hrs with about 1 hr of stoppages ( fork repairs and a coffee or two 🙄 )

O-yes and a complete wet out for about 10 miles…..

great ride boys…look forward to next time 😉
