This is what your missing along Castle Eden Gunner….Nowt!!

Had a quick dodge along Castle Eden tonight before tea, just to blow the cobwebs off me from sitting at work all day, took my camera along for the ride so you could see some images Gunner.

The loop I do goes out to the Durham bridge and back ( about 13 miles ) so its a shade over an hours ride.

DURHAM BRIDGE OVER DUAL CARRIAGEWAY TO HARTLEPOOL ( wind turbines in background ) its about another 4 miles to Hurworth burn reservoir from here.

THE JECKYLL IN THE HARSH DEMANDING ENVIRONMENT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR ( Tea room, scone hunting! 😆 😆 )

If you look to the black line in between the far clump of tree’s a railway viaduct used to span from where my bike is over to the far side, in the olden days when ah used t spark me clogs on’t way t school 😆 😆

Pretty boring terrain really Gunner but its usefull for an hours blast straight from the door, and all off road.

You’re right, seems a bit tame for me.

It’s funny looking at your “leftie” when the photo is supersized and seeing just the one fork, it’s something I think I’d have difficulty getting used to. 😆 😆

Nah….the Lefty’s mint, dead plush, runs on 88 needle rollers so there’s no “stiction” when it moves, apparantly the cannondale engineers based it on a minaturised version of an F16 fighter undercarriage, don’t know how right that is like 😕

But its odd, and I like it! 😀 I like odd things me, I think that’s why I get on so well with Harry 😆 😆 😆

I won the bloody house fair and square even though it didn’t hurt that much.

He can stick his Boras I’ve got my own now. And I’ve just got back from buying some more wheels and they make the Boras seem like tractor tyres 😉

The best bit of that cycle path is Hurworth Reservoir. Beautiful
