Does anybody know if you need to use rim tape on tubeless wheels if you’re going to use tubes? 😕

Depends on the type of wheels.

You shouldn’t as there are no holes for spoke nipples on “proper” tubeless rims.

Basically if there are no holes then no you don’t.

    Right sorted, cheers Tom.

    Next question:

Anybody used Shimano 6 bolt to centre-lock adaptors?

I’m trying to fit my Avid discs on to the XT wheels and the Shimano centre-locks don’t seem to fit 😕 . The mount itself is ok but the retaining collar that clips to the back wont fit onto the hub splines!

Doh, think I was trying to fit back-to-front! 😳

    Note to self: RTFI!! 🙄
