my gear shifting was providing some resistance, and i wanted it sorting.

first off, loosen cable and pull out of the outer. spray it with gt40 and wipe it down with a rag. few drops of chain lube down the cable outer and feet the cable back in. tighten up and away you go. mine are soooooooooo smooooth its unreal.

Is there no such thing as a cable oiler for bicycles, I remember they used to be popular with motorcyclists in the late 70’s early 80’s?

I just pop off all the cables from the housings, shove the casing up to one end, oil the inner at the other and and vice versa. Then replace it all.

    Seemples!!
