    Hi all,

I’ve just bought a Cube mountain bike with race face components.

My bike arrived with 2 washers attached to the pedal arm of the

Race Face Aeffect SL 32T, 175 crank

May be a stupid question but here goes.

The washers have a flat side and a rounded side where they’ve been punched out in manufacture…..I used to run a cnc punch machine at work and know that the underside of the sheet material has the sharper flat edges once punched out.

Which side goes against the pedal arm? The flat side or the rounded side.

Hope you can help me with this query.

    Thanks Mike

It doesn’t matter but it’ll look better with the underside out of sight.
