Wheel advice please
-
Was out on the trail-a-bike with my eldest today and I must have cut a corner too tight and the rear wheel took a massive hit on a rock.
The wheel of the trail-a-bike is bent significantly towards the frame.
What have I done? Bent the axle? Is it possible for a local bike shop to repair it or am I looking at a new wheel?

Is the wheel just buckled or has it slipped in the dropouts?
Take it out and refit to see if it makes a difference.
If it’s buckled it’s repairable/straightened but other issues may not be economical.

Thanks for that.
It looks like it had moved in the dropouts. The thing is when I refitted the wheel to get it straight it kind of floats in one of the dropouts rather than going all the way in like it does on my bikes. If I put it all of the way in the wheel is very wonky.
Is that normal for this type of bike. Looking at where the paintwork has come away it would appear that it should be floating up there.
