I am new to biking and certianly not put off by the coming winter.

Can anyone reccomend some trousers and tops to wear whilst out on single track or fire road?

    Fingerless or fingered 😯 gloves?

Any other ideas that helps stave off the cold will be appreciated.

    Hi,

I would advise some strong gloves and am not a great belever in fingerless gloves (I like my fingers too much) I ride with some Decathlon gloves that have a padded palm and area between the thumb and first finger and re-enforcing along the backs of the fingers and knuckles and I love them. As far as trousers are concerned I prefare to wear padded shorts as its much more comfy on the backside and if I wear longs the outer chain wheel eats my trousers. With regard to tops I will put on 2 or 3 thinner cycling tops and if wet a soft shell shower proof top with 2 cycling tops underneath. I do have a backpack or camel back so if I get too warm clothes get removed and stowed in that (not all of them of course).
